Prabal Gurung for Target

I really like this collection the colors, prints and patterns are perfect for the spring and summer! I have no idea what took me so long to get to Target, but I finally went yesterday after seeing a few of my favorite bloggers post pictures of the wonderful pieces they recently purchased. When I got there I went straight to the shoe dept. which is my favorite part of Prabal Gurung's collection for Target there was only about 15 pairs of shoes left. I already had it in my head that they wouldn't have my size, being that a 7 1/2 is one of the most popular sizes and low and behold there they were. One pair of black sandals in a 7 1/2, they were actually an online return so they had been marked down to $10 bucks, I couldn't believe it! I tried them on they fit like a charm and left with me. I am in love with these shoes, once I got home I went straight to Target's website to see if they had any more of these beauties but in different colors, and of course every last color was sold out! I went back to Target today to see if I could find anything else, and I snatched up this really cute long sleeve shirt for $19.99. The prices are wonderful and its a great collection with a lot of pretty pieces, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Love my Timbs what can I say I've rocked these boots hard this winter, a trend I was happy to see make its way back around. You can dress them up or dress them down, I've worn mine with everything from leggings, to dresses, and of course jeans...I already know I will be purchasing a fresh pair for the summer. Happy New Year!! Welcome 2013!!

Happy New Year everyone, wow I still cant believe 2012 is over and a new year is here. I had a wonderful holiday, I spent it with family and friends and now its back to the real world. I don't really make New Year resolutions however this year I will be focusing on staying healthy and fit, I will be more consistent with working out and juicing. I look forward to blogging more, traveling more, and simply enjoying life! Stayed tuned folks...

ASOS Dress

Date Weekend in DC...

I spent this past weekend in DC with the love of my life, he's amazing and always finds ways to make me feel special. I love my babe, he planned a quick little weekend get a way for us, he plans most of our outings because he's so damn good at it. I'm too indecisive when it comes to making plans, so I love the fact that I can leave it in his hands! We snatched up tickets to the Lakers and Wizards game, being that it was last minute and the Lakers were playing you can imagine where we sat. However, I'm not really a sports girl so I don't pay attention to the game that much anyway, we loaded up on snacks and had a great time. DC has so much history, there's so much to see, and so much to do! We ate, we laughed, we played it was a wonderful weekend! I wanted to be comfortable and needed something that I could wear from the game straight to dinner and where ever else we decided to go afterwards. I decided to go with my black ASOS Polo Neck Mini Dress, I threw on some accessories with it, my Timbs, and my ASOS Parka.

Holiday Mini Haul!!

Going out to shop on Black Friday wasn't an option for me, packed malls, crowded stores, and people stepping all over each other isn't really my thing! I like to shop in peace when stores aren't busy, and I have first dibs on the fitting room...I went to the mall Monday night and it looked like a ghost town, I got a great parking space and was in and out of stores in no time. There were no long lines to wait in, so it was nothing but smiles over here.. I needed a few sweaters so I stopped at my usual stores Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, and H&M. I also purchased a few dresses, a parka, and a pair of pumps online from two of my fav stores ASOS and LuLu's, I cant wait for them to arrive!! I must say I found better deals online than I did in the actual stores, ASOS was offering an extra 30% off of any item, and I believe LuLu's gave an additional 15% off!! I purchased the dresses, shoes, and jacket for under $200 bucks!!

Weekend Goodies!!

This past weekend I attended the Return of The Curls Holiday Trunk Show in Richmond, VA, the turn out was great the place was packed. I really planned on taking pictures once I got in the venue, but there were so many people that just trying to maneuver around the room was a struggle. There were lots of great vendors I spent about $40 bucks and left with lots of little goodies. I love events like this where local merchants come out sell products and network.. Being that I'm natural events of this nature always draw me in!! I pretty much have a solid regimen when it comes to my hair, I have my staple products and styles, however I still keep my eyes open for interesting products to try every now and then. I purchased a Green Tea & Coconut Conditioner Bar from Tree Naturals, the ingredients look delish, cant wait to try it!! I also left with a lovely new lip gloss from Mod Gyrl Cosmetics, this gloss is the best so thick and heavy concentrated with color it lasts for hours, I will be purchasing more glosses in the future from Mod Gyrl Cosmetics!! I also purchased a red faux leather bracelet, along with a couple pairs of earrings from The Jewelry Box and Fabulosity Jewelz both of which are located in Richmond...Here are a few pics of my look and my goodies!!
