February Favorites!

Hey ladies, I wanted to share some of my February Favorites with you all! Although spring is just around the corner, it definitely doesn't feel that way here in the RVA!  It's been one hell of a winter here from snow to single digit temps, I'm definitely ready for some warmer days. In the meantime shopping for new spring pieces makes me happy, February is the month in which I stop buying winter pieces and start looking for pieces that can transition from winter to spring, all the items that made my February Favorites do just that. These are pieces that can be layered and take you through the rest of winter straight into warmer spring days!

Its all about the Sweatshirt!

Ok, so recently I've been obsessing over sweatshirts, I'm really loving this trend. It's one of those pieces that you can pair with just about anything. I've seen sweatshirts being worn this season with everything from midi skirts and heels, to leather pants and sneakers! I mean who doesnt love a good sweatshirt! Topshop Unique

So yesterday I went to the launch of Topshop Unique Spring/ Summer 2013 collection right here in Richmond at Need Supply Co.. Need Supply Co. is a super cute boutique that I've been going to for years! Its nested in a really cute area known as Carytown, which is filled with vintage and thrift shops, boutiques, and restaurants. It was a really nice turn out, lots of local bloggers were there which was really nice and refreshing for me to see. Moving on to the collection, it was amazing as to be expected, most of the pieces were so light and flowy, a very easy breezy collection to say the least. Here are a few pics of the collection, I must say my favorite piece was this long black & white dress it was gorgeous and I'm adding it to my "want list".
