Salute: The American Flag

My obsession with online shopping is getting worse, I've banned myself from any website where I can click and spend money for a month!! However my ASOS purchase from last week arrived today. I love ASOS, such a great variety of pieces, they have something for everyone and wonderful prices. My latest ASOS buy was this A X American Flag tank, the material feels great it's a cotton and spandex blend, so it has a bit of stretch to it and wont fade like a regular black cotton tank! I will be getting a lot of wear out of this piece by layering it under my Motorcycle Jacket and other fall pieces....

Outfit of The Day..

Today's outfit, H&M blouse my new fav jeans BDG High Rise Cigarette Jeans (Urban Outfitters) and my Minnetonkas..I love these jeans, I've always been a fan of high waisted jeans and these are a perfect fit!! This is my second pair of jeans from BDG, I will definitely be purchasing more in the near future!!

Thursdays Thrift Store Finds...

Typically when I go thrifting I have in mind what I want, otherwise I would be sifting through items for hours. Today I was looking for a leather skirt, a plaid knee length wool skirt, and a army fatigue jacket, however I had no luck finding those things.. I ended up leaving with three purses and a beautiful bracelet all for a little over $20 bucks, this is why I LOVE thrifting!!

Same Jeans Different Looks!

I must say one of my favorite pairs of denim right now are my H&M black stretch skinny jeans. I found them a few months ago for $9.95 this wasn't a sale, but the regular price. If I knew I was going to like the fit of these jeans so much I would've snatched up more than one pair. Anyway as with most jeans they can be dressed up or dressed down, I've worn them with just about everything, they just feel good! Here are a few different looks I've put together with these jeans...

Side Note: I LOVE these Motorcycle boots I've had them about 5 or 6 years now they're perfectly worn and comfy!! This Levi's denim shirt has been with me awhile also it's multi purpose which is perfect for warm days and cool nights! It served as an accessory and I used it as a wrap around my waist, and later in the evening once the temperature dropped I put it on to keep warm!

BOOTS!

I can already tell that my obsession for this season is going to be Navajo print, and anything Native American inspired. My love affair with this print began last year when I purchased a Navajo Print wrap from H&M, I wore it every chance I got. I had been on a quest to find the perfect pair of Navajo print boots, and DSW didn't disappoint with these Wanted Navajo inspired boots!!

My new Docs! Love love love Doc Martens and have since the early 90's, I was and still am a huge fan of the Grunge movement and I'm not sure why it took me so long to get a pair of these babies! They were a gift from my wonderful parents for my birthday, I decided to go with the 1460 W Black Patent Leather pair. My parents ordered them straight from the Doc Martens website, unfortunately these boots run a little big and they don't have half sizes. I'm typically a 7 1/2 but the boots were an 8. I ended up sending them back in order to get a 7, and had to pay $20 bucks for shipping, whoa!! I wasn't too happy with the fact that there was no return shipping label included for returns and exchanges and there is no real exchange policy in place. Basically you send your items back and they get credited, but you have to place a new order. I'm not a fan of that policy so this will be my first and last time purchasing anything straight from docmartens.com.

Back to the Basics!

With fall readily approaching, I continue to go out and stock up on basic piece's that are great for layering and keeping me warm in the winter months. Although I love the warm weather, I love fall/winter clothes even more! Boots, chunky knits, and hats make me smile!! Here are a few things that I snatched up this week, a few Old Navy long-sleeved tee's and navy purse as well as my MinneTonka suede ankle fringe booties...

Happy 28th Birthday to Me!!

Being that my Birthday fell on a Monday this year, it was a must that I celebrated my big day over the weekend with my friends and family. I had a wonderful weekend it went by way too quick, all smiles over here!!Here are a few snaps of what went down and what was worn...(this has to be one of my fav. dresses so I just had to wear it before it gets shoved in the back of the closet until next summer)

Oh how I LOVE Amazon.com, this has to be one of my favorite websites, its definitely my idea of a one stop shop. From IPhone cases, to wall decor, and my latest purchase bar stools. I've been on a quest to find the perfect bar stools for my kitchen, and of course Amazon had them. I'm not sure why I even wasted the time looking elsewhere, I purchased these beauties for $66.50 and got free shipping on top of it. Hopefully assembly will be breeze, but that's what my babe comes in handy for if not! I will definitely be posting some more pics of these babies once I receive them!!
